Trinity loses to CENLA, 14-4

ALEXANDRIA, La. — After Trinity Episcopal rallied to take the lead over University Academy of CENLA, the Lions scored 11 unanswered runs to pull away for a 14-4 win over the Saints in five innings Friday night.
University Academy jumped out to a 3-1 lead before Trinity Episcopal used a three-run rally in the top of the third inning for a 4-3 lead.
The Lions answered with six runs in the bottom of the third to take the lead for good. Trey Gill went 2-for-3 and Jacob Netterville had a double for the Saints.
Trinity Episcopal (0-1) plays at Adams County Christian School Monday at 6 p.m.
Family Community Christian School 6, Block 4
JONESVILLE, La. — The Family Community Christian School Warriors defeated the host Block High School Bears 6-4 Friday afternoon at the Block High School Baseball Tournament.
No other information on the game was available. Block (1-2) takes on Epps High School at 2 p.m. today.
