VIDALIA — Services for William Karl Stanley, 54, of Vidalia, who died Friday, Feb. 26, 2011, are incomplete at Young’s Funeral Home in Vidalia.

Mr. Stanley was born Dec. 8, 1956, the son of George William Stanley and Sarah Irene Brown Stanley.

He worked in the oil field and as a truck driver. He also served his country in the U.S. Army.

Mr. Stanley was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Micheal Smith.

Survivors include his wife, Sheila Stanley of Summers, Ark.; four sons, James Stanley and his wife Mickey and Jesse Stanley of West Lincoln, William Stanley and his wife Crystal of Fort Worth, and Anthony Stanley of Vidalia; four daughters, Michelle Montgomery and husband Timmy of West Lincoln, Rebecca Stanley of Florida, Niquita Stanley and husband Red of Oklahoma and Sarah Stanley of Vidalia; one brother, Wade Smith of Brookhaven; and 17 grandchildren.
