NATCHEZ — Services for Revonne Corey Jr., 20, of Natchez, who died Sunday, Feb. 14, 2016, in Natchez, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church on Martin Luther King Jr. Road with the Rev. Ernest Ford Sr. officiating.
Burial will follow at Sunset View Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of West Gate Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 5 to 5:45 p.m. Friday with a celebration of life service at 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
Visitation will continue from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.
Mr. Corey was born Oct. 10, 1995, in Natchez, the son of Martha Minor. He was also the son of Luther and Alfredia Knight.
Revonne was a 2014, graduate of Natchez High School and was attending Copiah-Lincoln Community College. He was a member of Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church.
Revonne enjoyed football, basketball and loved Jordan tennis shoes.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Leon and Dora Minor and godmother, Lou Stella King.
Survivors include his parents; one brother, Henry Washington Jr.; godparents, Tayo and Helen Popoola; godbrother, Adekola Popoola; uncles and aunts, Jack Noble and wife, Joachina, Tommy Minor and wife, Geraldine, Keith Washington and wife, Brenda, Cassandra Washington and Lillie Brown and husband, Kendale; special friends, Asia and Cameron Carradine, Tyrae Letcher, Rodrekus Johnson, Germari Green, Emeal Smith Jr., Brandon Brown, Ernest Chatman, Paul “Duke” Johnson and Arthur Moore; great-uncles and great-aunts, Clarence Bacon, Charles Bacon, Dora O’Neal, Carlotta Washington, Rosalie Stewart, Willie Mae Robinson, Alma Washington, Camille Felton, Thelma Noble, Vivian Noble, Charles and Mary Minor, Lee Ector Minor and Audrey Minor; and other relatives and friends.
