FERRIDAY — Services for Thomas Martin Jr., 44, of Ferriday, who died Sunday, Feb. 14, 2016, at Merit Health Natchez, will be 2 p.m. Saturday at St. James Baptist Church on Skipper Drive with the Rev. Lee A. Martin officiating.

Burial will follow at the Ferriday Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mr. Martin was born Aug. 30, 1971, in Pineville, La., the son of Thomas Martin Sr. and Patricia Johnson Martin.

He was preceded in death by one son, Devante Keys; one daughter, Patricia Martin; one brother, Yuan Henderson; two uncles, L.T. Martin and Charles Martin; and his paternal grandparents, Alberta Richardson and Clarence Martin Sr.

Survivors include his parents; two sons, Andre Keys and Tevion Carter of Ferriday; two daughters, Tajaree McCray and Shandrika Leonard of Ferriday; five brothers, Cecil Martin and Derrick Lewis of Ferriday, P.L. Jefferson of Cartersville, Ga., Luvell Lewis of Vidalia and Irvin Martin and wife, Sharon, of St. Joseph; two sisters, Debra Bates and husband, Charles, of Baton Rouge and LaKita Robinson of Jackson; two grandchildren, Trevon Green Jr. and Taraji Butler of Ferriday; maternal grandmother, Ruby Johnson of Ferriday; and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
