GLOSTER — Services for Jeffrey Kimbriel, 39, of Gloster, who died Friday, March 4, 2011, at his residence after battling cancer for five years, will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Pioneer Baptist Church with the Rev. Kevin Dixon officiating.
Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery under the direction of Newman Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. until service time Monday at the church.
He was a member of Pioneer Baptist Church and a proud supporter of St. Jude. He was a retired police dispatcher with the Town of Woodville and Natchez and worked for Jordan Carriers in Natchez along with three other trucking companies.
Mr. Kimbriel was preceded in death by his grandparents, W.O. and Estelle Burchfield Kimbriel and Van and Alma McKey McCurley.
Survivors include his parents, W.O. and Birdie McCurley Kimbriel of Gloster and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Pallbearers will be Michael Hinton, Clint McCurley, Jerry Carter, Lane White, Michael “Chop” Wheeler, Cameron Collier, Johnny Tarver and Charles Jordan.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jennings McCurley, Kevin Lane White, Jim Easterling, Ken Allen, male members of Pioneer Baptist Church and his neighbors.
