GLOSTER — Services for Margaret Greer Klar, 86, a longtime resident of Rosetta, who died Sunday, Feb. 14, 2016, at the Wilkinson County Senior Care in Centreville, will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Brown Funeral Home Chapel in Gloster with the Rev. Bernard Waites officiating.

Burial will follow at the Rosetta Cemetery under the direction of Brown Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time Wednesday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Klar was born Jan. 16, 1930, the daughter of George Greer and Jane Rymer Greer.

She was a housewife and a help-mate to her husband, Ernest Klar. She was retired from the U.S. Postal Service in Crosby.

Mrs. Klar was preceded in death by her husband.

Survivors include two sons, Ernest Darwin Klar and wife, Judy Caldwell, and Tommy Jack Klar and wife, Bolinda Floyd; one daughter, Margie Ann Klar Randleman and husband, Ronald; one brother, B.K. “Keller” Greer; six grandchildren, Jackie Lynn Klar, Tommy Jack “Bubba” Klar Jr., Melinda Klar, Kristopher Caldwell Klar, Kevin Michael Klar and Patrick Murray Klar; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Tommy Jack “Bubba” Klar, Melinda Klar, Kristopher Klar, Kevin Klar, Patrick Klar and David Wayne Williams.

Honorary pallbearer will be Cavin Greer.
