VIDALIA – Memorial services for Max Forrest Byrd, 20, of Natchez, who died Sunday, March 6, 2011, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Cornerstone Church with the Rev. Danny Reed officiating.
Committal service will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time Saturday at the church.
Max was born April 20, 1990, in Natchez, the son of Michael Forrest Byrd and Regina Gail O’Gwin Byrd.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Geraldine Byrd; maternal grandmother, Virginia O’Gwin; cousin, Todd Lipscomb; and best friend, Edward Montgomery.
Survivors include his parents, Mike Byrd of Vidalia and Regina O’Gwin of Natchez; one sister, Becky Britt of Natchez; two brothers, Scott Byrd of Natchez and Landon Byrd of North Carolina; paternal grandfather, Forrest Byrd of Vidalia; maternal grandfather, Howard O’Gwin of Natchez; three aunts, Kay Deville and husband, Jerry, of Houma, La., Jan Lipscomb and husband, Randy, and Paula Guillot, all of Vidalia; two uncles, Gary Byrd and wife, Billie, of Natchez and Van O’Gwin and wife, Ljuba, of Vidalia; one niece, Lily Byrd of Natchez; one nephew, Carson Fulford of Vidalia; eight cousins, Sean O’Gwin, Ben O’Gwin and Kelly O’Gwin, Jamie Lipscomb, Stephen Lipscomb, Lance Byrd, Allan Byrd and Emily Byrd, all of Vidalia.
