NATCHEZ — Services for Glendol Woodroe Wisner, 75, of Natchez, who died Monday, March 14, 2011, at his residence, will be at 11 a.m. today at Church of Christ, U.S. Highway 61 South, with Ronnie Cosby and Isaac Tenner officiating.
Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Mr. Wisner was born Aug. 30, 1935, in Crosby, the son of Verlis Wisner and Eula Phipps Wisner.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Margaret Wisner Arnold.
Survivors include his wife, Melba Havard Wisner; two daughters, Cynthia Wisner Roberts and Carla Wisner Allgood and husband, Jimmy; one son, Glenn Wayne Wisner and wife, Mandy, all of Natchez; 10 grandchildren, Jessica Calvitt Krueger, Sarah Wisner, Haley Freeman, Justin Allgood and Kayla Wisner, all of Natchez, Daniel Wisner and wife, Elizabeth, of New Orleans, Amanda Roberts Lemoine and husband, Dustin, of Vidalia, Kimberly Calvitt and fiancé, Michael Schuele of Columbus, Ohio, Megan Young and husband, Adam, and Wesley Roberts, all of Johnson’s Bayou, La.; six great-grandchildren, Trenton Lemoine, Landon Krueger, Steven Lemoine, Duncan Young, Charley Young and Paisley Young.
Pallbearers will be Justin Allgood, Wesley Roberts, Daniel Wisner, Doug Netterville, Larry Havard, Rodney Pollan, Jeff Netterville and Maurice Hawkins.
Honorary pallbearers will be Adam Young, Dustin Lemoine, Jim Allgood, Mike Schuele, Shane Pollan, Richard Olier and Robert Bradley.
