FERRIDAY — Services for Leroy Chatman, 65, of Ferriday, who died Monday, Jan. 25, 2016, at Heritage Manor Health and Rehab Center in Ferriday, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Rosehill Baptist Church in Ferriday with the Rev. Eddie Schiele officiating.

Burial will follow at the Ferriday Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mr. Chatman was born Sept. 28, 1950, in Natchez, the son of Leroy and Martha Jones Chatman.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include two sons, Chris Chatman and wife, Tabanika, and Craig Green, all of Ferriday; three daughters, Kimberly Evans of Prairieville, La., Janelle Crowder of Monroe, La., and Dyeshia Jefferson of Baton Rouge; two brothers, Leonard Posey of Bastrop, La., and Calvin Chatman and wife, Belinda, of Ferriday; five sisters, Gaye Joyce Tolliver of Raleigh, N.C., Maxine Scott, Cynthia Yvonne Chatman and Patricia Chatman, all of Ferriday, and Janet Cage and husband, Larry, of Baton Rouge; one aunt, Ethel Batiste and husband, Jeffery, of San Bernardino, Calif.; 22 grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
