NEW ORLEANS — Ronald Monroe Secco II, 41, a bridge operator with the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development, died peacefully at his residence Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2016.01:16 RonaldMSecco II obitpic

Funeral arrangements are incomplete at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home in New Orleans.

Mr. Secco was a longtime resident of Slidell, La. He was also a former resident of Monterey where he attended Monterey High School.

Mr. Secco was preceded in death by his grandparents including J.R. Mitchell of Lacombe, La., and Louise Rutherford of Woodville; three uncles, Lafayette Netterville, Glen Wisner and Lawrence Havard; and one aunt, Frances Havard.

Survivors include his mother Elizabeth “Liz” Fay Mitchell and father-figure, Robert “Bobby” Cockerham; and a number of other aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives and friends.
