JONESVILLE — Services for Wedon King, 72, a commercial fisherman of Jonesville, who died Thursday, Jan. 14, 2016, at his residence surrounded by his loving family, will be 10 a.m. Saturday at First Pentecostals of Jonesville with the Rev. Bruce Lofton, the Rev. Jack Knapp and the Rev. Lloyd Trisler officiating.

Burial will follow at the Jena Cemetery under the direction of Comer Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today at the church.

Mr. King was born Jan. 10, 1944, in Jonesville, the son of Charles and Marie Parker King. He was a lifelong resident of Jonesville.

He will be missed bv all who knew him.

Mr. King was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Katherine King Kennon.

Survivors include his loving wife of 50 years, Jane King; two daughters, Katherine Johnese and husband, David, of Jonesville and Janice Ford and husband, Dale, of Olla, La.; two granddaughters, Kaitln Tillman and husband, Rodney, and Bethany Johnese; two great-grandchildren, Peyton and Hannah Tillman; and one sister, Maudie Hayes of Effie, La.

Pallbearers will be Ben, Bodie, David, Ken, Leigh and Ronnie King.

Honorary pallbearers will be Dale Ford, David Johnese and Rodney and Peyton Tillman.
