NATCHEZ — Funeral services for Margie Rushing Cole, 75, of Natchez, who died Jan. 1, 2016, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Jackson, will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Springfield Baptist Church.
Burial will follow at Springfield Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Laird Funeral Home and 1 p.m. until service time Tuesday at the church.
Mrs. Cole was born on Jan. 28, 1940, in McCall Creek, the daughter of Willie Joe Rushing and Willie Juanita Burr Rushing. She was a retired beautician and a member of Springfield Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Carece Cox.
Survivors include her husband of 47 years, Bill Cole; two daughters, Robin McKinley and husband, Randy, and Dana Dupre and husband, Joel; three sons, Billy Cole, Bobby Cole and Benny Cole; seven grandchildren, Christopher McKinley, Stephanie Wall and husband, Renee Shane, Dustin Cole and wife, Eryn, Ashley Donaldson and husband, Joel, Sarah Case, Isabella Dupre and Ainsely Dupre; five great-grandchildren; one brother, James Rushing; four sisters, Louise Buckles, Nancy Rushing, Diane Rushing and Susie Boles and husband, Donnie; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Christopher McKinley, Joel Dupre, Randy Cole, Michael Levite, Joey Chapman and Charlie Stevens.
Honorary pallbearers will be Griff Toney, Robert Warren, Donnie Boles, Randy McKinley and Renee Shane Wall.
