FERRIDAY — Services for Susie Williams, 92, of Ferriday, who died Sunday, Dec. 20, 2015, at her residence, will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. John Baptist Church on Lake St. John in Ferriday with the Rev. Justin Conner officiating.

Burial will follow at the Consurella Cemetery in Waterproof under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Williams was born June 13, 1923, in Newellton, La., the daughter of Randal and Nancy Kenny Dixon.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Johnnie Williams Sr.; one son, Johnnie Williams Jr.; one daughter, Nancy Warren; and three brothers, Ernest Dixon, Ullman Dixon and Eugene Dixon.

Survivors include four sons, O.C. Williams of Chicago, Hersey Williams and wife, Elizabeth, and Shelby Williams, all of Ferriday, and Carl Williams of Tulsa, Okla.; six daughters, Helen Jones and husband, Felix, Rose Williams and Jackie Nell Williams, all of Ferriday, Martha Wilson and Blanche Williams, both of Chicago, Cora Monday and husband, Fred, of Tulsa; two brothers, Leon Dixon of Panther Burn and Willie Dixon of Salida, Calif.; 18 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; 35 great-great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
