Carrol Hall

CLAYTON — A memorial service for Carrol Hall, 77, of Clayton, who died Friday, Dec. 25, 2015, will be from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Monday at his residence.
Mr. Hall was born July 20, 1938 in Chino, Calif.
He attended Citrus Union High School in Glendora, Calif., and moved to Waterproof in 1966 to oversee the restoration of Wavertree Plantation. He and his wife, Ginger, moved to Clayton in 1986 where Carrol managed operations at the Clayton Gin.
In 1988, he was injured in a boating accident, which left him paralyzed. Carrol carried on even with his handicap, and lived his life to the fullest.
Upon his request, Carrol’s body was donated to the LSU School of Medicine.
He is preceded in death by his wife.
He is survived by three children, Timothy Hall and wife, Lisa, of Orange, Texas, Tamara Hall and husband, Jim Violette, of Ashland, New Hampshire, and Terry Hall; his son, Kevin Lance, of Clayton; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
