NATCHEZ — Services for Edna Faye Joseph, 87, of Natchez, who died Sunday, Dec. 20, 2015, at Merit Health Natchez, will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Lovely Lane United Methodist Church with the Rev. John Kramer officiating.
Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time Wednesday at the church.
Mrs. Joseph was born June 22, 1928, in Castor, La., the daughter of Thomas Aaron Godfrey and Bertha Guin Godfrey.
She was a charter member of Lovely Lane United Methodist Church. She was also a member of Auburn Garden Club, Natchez City Garden Club and the Mississippi Gardeners.
Mrs. Joseph was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and Daughters of the Confederacy.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Leo Lawrence Joseph Sr.; one grandson, Malcolm Wayne Joseph Jr.; two brothers, Dalton Godfrey and Marshall Godfrey; and one sister, Daphne Brown.
Survivors include four sons, Leo Lawrence Joseph Jr.; Reginald Aaron Joseph and Malcolm Wayne Joseph, all of Natchez, and Godfrey West Joseph of Port Gibson; four grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one brother, Pope Godfrey of Forest; one sister, Mary Helen Elzey of Houston; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Leo Joseph III, Bryan Rabb, Terrell Foster, Sonny Daniels, Terry Robinson, Earnie J. Ratcliff and David New III.
