ROXIE — Services for Dorothy Briggs, 86, who died Tuesday, Dec. 15, 2015, in Beaumont, Texas, will be 1 p.m. Sunday at Roxie First Baptist Church in Roxie.

Burial will follow at the Zion Cemetery in Roxie under the direction of Proctor’s Mortuary in Beaumont, Texas.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time Sunday at the church.

Survivors include 10 children, Jimmy Briggs and wife, Evelene, Vernell Bateaste and husband, James, Joel Briggs, Glenda Briggs, Dyral Briggs, Vincent Briggs, Gregory Briggs and wife, Joy, Vextric Briggs, Larissa Briggs and Tangela Briggs; and a number grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
