Period of Nov. 20-25

Willie Thomas Jr. pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance. Thomas also pleaded guilty to failure to yield at a red light. Thomas also pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct.

Charles Grantham charged with possession of a controlled substance. Case bound over to a grand jury.

Kristie Sewell pleaded guilty to simple assault.

Michael Johnson pleaded guilty to resisting arrest. Johnson also pleaded guilty to false identify.

Bernard Walker pleaded guilty to loitering.

Stephanie Reid charged with possession of a controlled substance. Case bound over to a grand jury.

Tristan Nolan pleaded guilty to trespassing.

Dakota Mooney pleaded guilty to trespassing.

Austin Walker pleaded guilty to trespassing.

 

Week of Nov. 27-Dec. 3

Matthew Blanks pleaded guilty to sale of a controlled substance.

Brandon Burnette pleaded guilty to simple assault.

Delbert Sims charged with sale of a controlled substance. Case bound over to a grand jury.

Glen Henderson charged with sale of a controlled substance. Case bound over to a grand jury.

Henderson was also charged with possession of a controlled substance. Case bound over to a grand jury. Henderson was charged with destruction of property. Case bound over to a grand jury.

Sammy Rushing pleaded guilty to trespassing.

Mark Cannon charged with possession of a controlled substance. Case bound over to a grand jury.

 

Adams County Circuit Court Cases 

Monday, Nov. 30

Garver Chatman pleaded guilty to burglary of a storehouse in Judge Johnson’s court. Sentenced to six years in the Mississippi Department of Corrections with full credit for any time served with the Adams County Sheriff’s Department. After serving one year of said sentence in custody, the remaining five years shall be served on formal reporting post-release supervision through the Mississippi Department of Corrections. As a special condition, the defendant shall receive alcohol treatment through the Mississippi Department of Corrections. Must pay all court costs and fees and a $200 prosecution fee.

 

Natchez Municipal Court Cases

Wednesday, Nov. 25

Moses Dyer Sr., 68, charged with city code violation – abandoned/inoperable vehicle. Case dismissed – vehicle is moved.

Natasha Washington, 44, pleaded guilty to shoplifting – 1st offense. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Banned from all Walmart locations. Fine set at $573.

Tony D. Hill, 52, pleaded guilty to public drunkenness. Sentenced to 10 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $323. Hill also pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct – failure to comply with officer. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $473.

 

Monday, Nov. 30

Andrea Rose, 32, pleaded guilty to amended charge of disturbing the peace of a family. Sentenced to 30 days with 18 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Twelve days served. Banned at request of apartment complex. No fines assessed.

Torrie Lariena Hinson, 38, pleaded guilty to public drunkenness. Sentenced to 10 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $323.

Nancy C. Vanderford, 19, pleaded guilty to shoplifting – 1st offense. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Banned from Belk. Fine set at $573.

Jessica Ross, 25, pleaded guilty to shoplifting – 1st offense. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Banned from all Walmart locations. Fine set at $573.

Elizabeth Paige Franklin, 20, pleaded guilty to shoplifting – 1st offense. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Banned from all Walmart locations. Fine set at $573.

 

Wednesday, Dec. 2

Charles R. Nolan Sr., 49, pleaded guilty to shoplifting – 1st offense. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Banned from all Walmart locations. Fine set at $923.
