NATCHEZ — Services for Mary Frances Vinson, 92, of Natchez, who died Thursday, Nov. 26, 2015, at the Magnolia Village, will be 11 a.m. today at Parkway Baptist Church with the Rev. Jeff Brewer officiating.
Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time today at the church.
Mrs. Vinson was born Jan. 15, 1923, the daughter of James Harrison Bingham and Cora Grissom Bingham.
She had a love for the Lord, read her Bible daily and was a longtime member of Morgantown Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and aunt.
Mrs. Vinson loved to fish, do needle point handwork and travel. She will be missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Fred E. Vinson; one daughter, Mary Ann Vinson; two brothers, Oscar and James Bingham; and two sisters, Mildred Ramer and Naomi Barrett.
Survivors include two sons, Lonnie Vinson and wife, Beverly, of Natchez, and Robert Vinson and wife, Debbie, of Hawkins, Texas; eight grandchildren, Melanie Vinson Williams and husband Kevin, Lonnie “Gene” Vinson Jr., Jason Vinson, Andrew Vinson and wife, Melinda, Timothy Vinson and wife, Jamie, Matthew Vinson, Kennon Cupit and wife, Susan, and Kevin Cupit and wife, Allison; nine great-grandchildren, Alyssa Vinson, Alex Vinson, Daniel Vinson, Chanz Vinson, Liam Vinson, Ryan Cupit, Lauren Cupit, Will Cupit and Wynn Cupit; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Andrew Vinson, Timothy Vinson, Matthew Vinson, Jason Vinson, Gene Vinson, Kennon Cupit, Kevin Cupit and Kevin Williams.
