Amma Dell Hendrix

NATCHEZ — Services for Amma Dell Hendrix, 94, of Natchez, who died Thursday, Nov. 19, 2015, at Crown Health and Rehab, will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Trinity Episcopal Church with the Rev. Walton Jones officiating.

Burial will follow at Midway Cemetery in Meadville under the direction of Laird Funeral home.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. Monday until service time at the church.

Mrs. Hendrix was born on March 25, 1921, in Wisner, La., the daughter of Isaac Jacob Wactor and Mary Iva Byrd Wactor.

She is preceded in death by her parents, one son, Mike Hendrix, a son-in-law, Robbie O’Bryant, a grandson, Lester Hartley, and a sister, Lola Huff.

Survivors include three daughters, Ann O’Bryant of Natchez, Elaine Snyder and husband, Bob, of Middleburg, Fla., and Helen Larsson and husband, Brandon, of West Plains, Mo.; eight grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Bob Snyder, Brandon Larsson, Danny King, Terry Whitten, Duane Stratton and James King.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Barry Tillman and the staff at Crown Health and Rehab.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Trinity Episcopal Church, P.O. Box 1323, Natchez, MS 39121.
