NATCHEZ — Funeral services for Thomas E. “Tommy” Sanders, 59, of Natchez, who died Thursday, Oct. 29, 2015, at Merit Health Natchez Community Campus, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at McNeely Road Church of God with the Rev. Brian Monehan, the Rev. Julius Roberts and the Rev. Mickey Alexander officiating.
Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. Monday and 9 a.m. Tuesday until time of service at McNeely Road Church of God.
Mr. Sanders was born Nov. 19, 1955, in Natchez, the son of Thomas J. Sanders Jr. and Bettie Rae Harrigill Sanders.
He was the founder of Sanders Collision for his sons, Jay and Jeremy Sanders.
He is preceded in death by his father.
Survivors include his wife, Teri Sanders; one daughter, Monica Smith and husband, Doug Lisenby; two sons, Jay Sanders and significant other, Hannah Thomas, her son, Adam Young, and Jeremy Sanders and wife, Kimberly; grandchildren: Mikayla Smith, Marleigh Smith, Hannhah Smith, Landon Smith, Ivy Rushing, Trippe Thomas, Hailey Whittington, Madison Lisenby; his mother; one sister, Bettie Jo Rhodes and husband, Richard; one brother-in-law, Tommy French and wife, Terri; one niece, Taylor Hubbs; one nephew, Tyler French; his best friend of many years, Ronnie D. Lee and his dogs, Shooter and Pistol.
Pallbearers will be Mark Schrock, Donnie Hall, Warren Wheat, Steve Carlock, Darius Willis, Andrew Norman, Dewitt Felter and Loyd Howington.
Honorary pallbearers will be Ronnie Lee, Landon Smith, Spanky Felter, John Swoveland and Little Spank Felter.
