PORT GIBSON — Memorial services for Jeanette H. Killingsworth, 76, of Port Gibson, who died Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2015, at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Glenwood Funeral Home Chapel in Port Gibson.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home.
Arrangements are under the direction of Glenwood Funeral Home.
Mrs. Killingsworth was born July 10, 1939, the daughter of James “Buster” Fulton and Floy Phillips Humphreys and was raised in Red Lick.
She was a member of Stepping Stone Baptist Church. She was loved by her family and many in the community where she loved. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Mrs. Killingsworth was preceded in death by her husbands, Allison Wade “A.W.” Killingsworth Jr. and J.P. Wallace.
Survivors include one brother, Billy Humphreys and wife, Vida, of Tok, Alaska; two sons, Jimmy Wallace of Port Gibson and David Killingsworth and wife, Anne, of Starkville; she was the cherished and loved grandmother of five grandchildren, Belinda Wallace Cupit and husband, Greg, of Natchez, Katrina Wallace Owens and husband, Michael, of Jackson, Josh Wallace of Knoxville, Tenn., Elizabeth Killingsworth LeJeune and husband, John R., and Richard A. Killingsworth and wife, Mary Kathryn Waites, all of Starkville; in addition, she leaves behind six great-grandchildren; one nephew, Jarrett Humphreys of Tok; and Gerald Smith, a very special friend and companion.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a memorial account that has been established in her memory at River Hills Bank in Port Gibson.
