Natchez Man arrested for alleged burglary

Natchez — A Natchez man is in jail after reportedly fleeing from the scene of a burglary and crashing a vehicle Saturday.
Anthony L. Bradford, 26, 8810 Chimney Rock Road, was arrested after he allegedly broke into an Arrowhead Drive storage shed, according to a Natchez Police Department report.
Bradford reportedly loaded a grass trimmer and chainsaw into a green SUV and fled. Officers spotted the vehicle speeding down D’Evereux Drive. Bradford allegedly struck a stop sign a short time later and again fled, leaving behind the vehicle and stolen items.
Police were able to track Bradford down later and charged him with burglary.
Bradford was being held without bond Sunday afternoon.
