Office open today for absentee voting

NATCHEZ — The Adams County Circuit Clerk’s office will be open today for in-person absentee voting for the Nov. 3 elections.
The ballot includes statewide, state legislature and county offices.
The office will be open from 8 a.m. to noon.
Early voting will also be available 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Friday, and from 8 a.m. to noon Oct. 31, which will be the last day for in-person voting.
Circuit Clerk Eddie Walker said he encourages everyone to take the opportunity get out and vote.
Those who wish to cast absentee ballots in person will need to have a suitable, legal photo ID, as will those who vote at the polls Nov. 3, Walker said.
Mail-in absentee ballots must be received by the clerk’s office by 5 p.m. Nov. 2.
