Jeannie Marie Merrill and Jason Spencer Archer, both of Ferriday, were married in a private ceremony Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2015, at 5 p.m., on the Island of St. Kitts, West Indies.

Parents of the couple are Randy and Peggy Merrill of Monterey and Bob and Mildred Archer of Ferriday.

The bride is employed by Concordia Parish Assessor’s Office.

The groom is employed by Sulzer Turbo Services.

The couple will reside in Ferriday.
