MANGHAM, La. — The Mangham High School Dragons had its way with Block High School Friday night in a 50-6 win over the Bears.
Block interim head coach Bo Sproles said he was proud of the team for getting positive yards and getting out of the game healthy. But there were some things he was not too pleased with.
“Too many missed tackles. We fell apart in the second quarter. We fumbled the ball way too much. We have to do a better job holding on to the ball,” Sproles said.
Sproles added that Mangham (3-1) was able to run the ball right up the middle and his defense just could not stop it.
“Mangham is a well-coached team. They didn’t make too many mistakes. We forced a couple of fumbles,” Sproles said. “Zorian Bowie and Jacob Duncan were our leading rushers. They were our only bright spots. We’ll just regroup and go again.”
Block (0-4) hosts Rayville High School at 7 p.m. next Friday.
