Exciting events are happening at the Natchez Humane Society!

Please mark Saturday, Sept. 26 on your calendar. The new shelter building will be open for tours at 9 a.m. There will be a parade of pets being relocated from the old shelter at 392 Liberty Road in Natchez to the new shelter located at 475 Liberty Road. Come see the brand new building!

You are also invited to “Broadway Favorites” to be held Sept. 26 at 6 p.m. at the beautiful home of Bazile and Jeanie Lanneau. It is located at 790 U.S. 61 South at Waverly Plantation.

Annie Fitch will be the feature vocalist. Annie has performed in shows such as Radio City Music Hall’s “Christmas Spectacular” as Mrs. Claus and the 2011-2012 tour of “Shrek the Musical” in both the U.S. and Asia as Princess Fiona. Her parents are Jay and Kathy Fitch. Kathy is our president of the Natchez Humane Society.

The program includes classic Broadway songs form “The Phantom of the Opera”, “West Side Story”, “Wicked” and other musicals.
