Pat” was born Nov. 10, 1950, in Aberdeen, the daughter of John and Leona Johnson.

She graduated from Northwestern State University with a degree in nursing. She held a number of different positions in the nursing field including coronary care nurse, ER nurse, house supervisor, LPN instructor and director of nurses over two hospitals. She worked in too many places to name, but her last place of employment was with Promise Health Care in Baton Rouge. Pat absolutely loved nursing (well most everything) and really hated when she had to quit due to her illness. Most of her dearest friends were co-workers for many years. She loved and appreciated all of them. They called her their “real life Maxine.”

Pat had six siblings, Maxine Currier, Johnny Johnson, Brenda Gibson, Kimble Johnson, Connie Hinson Howington and Victor Johnson.

She and Jerry Lee Hill were blessed with three wonderful daughters.

Pat had 10 beautiful grandchildren, two of whom God felt were too special to send to this earth, so He kept them in heaven with Him. She absolutely adored and doted on every single one of them. Her life was filled with dance recitals, baseball games and everything else she could partake in. She loved traveling and went on several trips with friends and family. She was dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Johnny and Victor.

Survivors include her three children, Sandy Palma and husband, Chad, Dana Robertson and husband, Steve, and Amanda Wilshusen and husband, Eric; four siblings, Maxine, Brenda, Kimble and Connie; eight grandchildren; aunts; brothers-in-law; and a number of nieces and nephews.
