FERRIDAY — A second man was arrested Tuesday in connection with a Saturday night shooting.
Markell K. Cook, 27393 Louisiana 15, Apt. 119, was made Tuesday, on charges of two counts attempted second-degree murder.
Ferriday police Captain Rickey Hollins said three suspects were involved in a late Saturday, early Sunday shooting, which occurred on the corner of Georgia and Seventh streets.
The shooting resulted in someone driving themselves to Riverland Medical Center with minor injuries.
“Two of (the suspects) are in custody,” Hollins said.
A third suspect is still at large, he said.
“Everything is still under investigation,” Hollins said.
The first arrest, Jarvis Jarman Davis, 24, 609 10th St., was made Saturday. Davis was charged with disturbing the peace and two counts attempted second-degree murder.
Both Davis and Cook are each being held on $250,000 bond.
