FAYETTE — Services for Doris Marie Carr, 66, of Fayette, who died Wednesday, Aug. 12, 2015, at her residence, will be 1 p.m. Sunday at Pine Grove Baptist Church in Stampley with the Rev. Lonnie Culbert officiating.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Marshal Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. today at the Natchez chapel and from noon until service time Sunday at the church.

Ms. Carr was born July 25, 1949, in Fayette, the daughter of Leon Carter Sr. and Eva Stampley Carter.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Leroy Stampley Sr., Lee Edward Carter and Leon Carter Jr.; two sisters, Ora Dell Stampley and Irene Norton; and one granddaughter, Timneisha Carr.

Survivors include two sons, Timothy Carr Sr. and Lorenzo Carr; one grandson, Timothy Carr Jr.; nine brothers, Julius, Freddie Lee, Claude Albert, Roosevelt, Allen, Curtis, Anthony, Vincent and Michael Carr; six sisters, Willie Mae Stampley, Vivian Wade, Diane Bailey, Azelia Shelby, Julia Banks and Angela Carter; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
