NATCHEZ — Duncan Park will be hosting a two-day tennis camp featuring Ronnie Blake of Tyler, Texas starting Wednesday.

“I’ll be teaching some of the basics of tennis, like up at the net volleying, serving and forehand basics,” Blake said.

Blake is known for his annual tennis camp in Texas.

“We run a seven-week summer program in Tyler every year,” he said. “It is a free program and is for 6-15 year olds.”

Blake, who will be making his first trip to Natchez, said Duncan Park tennis director Henry Harris was key in getting him to come.

“I play on a tennis circuit and Henry is a really good friend of mine,” Blake said.
