Robert and Joyce Brown of Baton Rouge announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Ashley Brown to Frankron Elery, son of Frank Jackson III and Fannie Lorraine McClay of Natchez.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Louisiana State University and is employed as a speech-language pathologist.

The groom-to-be is also a graduate Louisiana State University and is employed as an electrical engineer.

The wedding will be Saturday, Aug. 15, 2015, at the old Louisiana State Capitol.

A reception will follow the ceremony and is by invitation and RSVP only.

The couple will live in Baton Rouge.
