NATCHEZ — Services for Linda “Captain Lou” Darnelle Anders, 62, of Natchez, who died Tuesday, July 14, 2015, at Merit Health Natchez, will be 10 a.m. today at Marshall Funeral Home Natchez Chapel with the Rev. Patrick Anders Sr. officiating.

Burial will follow at the Anders Family Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time today at the funeral home.

Ms. Anders was born July 11, 1953, in Natchez, the daughter of Nathan Anders Jr. and Annie Roshelle Britt.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include four daughters, Mary Jackson, Destinee Polk, Faye Fairchild and Bessie Lee Knight; three sons, Roy Ray, Carl Ray and Sidney Irby; one stepdaughter, Spring Thompson; one stepson, Corbin Thompson; and a number of other relatives and friends.
