NATCHEZ — Memorial services for Edward Robert “Robby” Green, 65, who died Monday, July 13, 2015, at Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans, will be 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Kenilworth, 207 Auburn Ave., with the Rev. James Wentworth leading the celebration of life.
Mr. Green was born Jan. 20, 1950, in Ocala, Fla., the son of Edward Badger Green and Angie Wooten Green.
Robby had a love for the University of Florida and never missed any sports as he cheered for his Gators. He attended the University of Louisiana in Monroe, La., where he was a member of Kappa Alpha Fraternity.
Robby was a retired accountant who enjoyed cooking and spending time with his friends and his son.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Daniel McNeil Green and his parents.
Survivors include one son, Robert Holland Green of Natchez; one sister, Margaret Angie Green of Fairhope, Ala.; and one nephew, Thomas McNeil Green of Ocala, Fla.
The family extends special thanks for all of phone calls and visits during Robby’s illness. Margaret would like to thank Clay Pere and Neil Faulkner for their generosity while Robby was at Ochsner.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Cathedral Unit School’s Capital Campaign.
