NATCHEZ — Graveside services for Henry Jo Byrd, 65, of Natchez, who died Monday, July 6, 2015, at St., Dominic Medical Center in Jackson, will be at 11 a.m. today at the Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Jeff Brewer officiating.

Burial will follow under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Visitation will be at 10 a.m. until service time today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Byrd was born March 15, 1950, in Coleman, Texas, the daughter of Lester Ray Brannan and Ruby Gayle Woodard Brannan.

She was employed as an office administrator with the Adams County Sheriff’s Office, serving during the terms of five Adams County sheriffs.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Debra Brannan.

Survivors include her husband, Bubba Byrd; one daughter, Ashley Coon of Natchez;  two grandchildren, Tristan Coon and Mason Elizabeth Thorpe; one sister, Marie Tucker and husband, Ed, of Natchez; one brother, Aaron Brannan and wife, Carol, of Richton; two nieces, Shannon Dawson and Caley Tucker; and four nephews, Stephen Tucker, Brian Tucker, Matthew Brannan and Christian Brannan.

Pallbearers will be Bubba May, Jake Jones, Freddie Sandel, Eddie James, Gary Smith and Jimmy Dinger.
