NATCHEZ — Services for Donald Roberts, 77, of Natchez, who died Sunday, July 5, 2015, at his residence, will be at 11 a.m. today at Laird Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bo Swilley officiating.

Burial will follow at the Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Visitation will be at 10 a.m. until time of service today at the funeral home.

Mr. Roberts was born Aug. 17, 1937, in Summit, the son of Bonnie Lee Roberts and Maggie Carol Moore Roberts. He was a logger for more than 40 years.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Roberts; his parents; one grandson, Daniel Roberts; and one brother, J. W. Roberts.

Survivors include his five children, Tommy Roberts and wife, Janice, Lisa White and husband, Darrell, David Roberts and wife, Lavada, Donna Young and husband, Jerry, and Lynn Roberts; one sister, Billy Sue Weeks and husband, James; a number grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and a loving friend, Pam Roberts.

Pallbearers will be Benji Buckles, Josh Roberts, Dale Wheat, Warren Wheat, Bryan Roberts, and Devin Roberts.
