VIDALIA — Funeral services for Norma “Cindy” Ables Byrnes, 77, of Vidalia, La., who died on Friday, July 3, 2015, in Shreveport, La., will be today at 1 p.m. at Young’s Funeral Home in Vidalia with the Rev. Glenn Waller officiating.

Visitation will be today from 11:30 until service time.

Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Natchez, under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home-Vidalia.

Cindy was born in Gilbert, La., on April 10, 1938 to George and Rutha Jane Ables.

She is preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Lois Waller and Jessie Lou Wallace.

She is survived by her daughter, Debbie Caskey and husband, Jimmy, of Vidalia; son, Roger Waller of Vidalia; four grandchildren, Roger D. Waller Jr., Corey Ross Waller, Chris Waller and Dustin Waller; brothers Benton Ables of Vidalia, Charles Ables and wife, Irene, of Ferriday; sisters, Katherine Ezell of Crowville, Annie Swillie of Vidalia and Mary Ann Smith and husband, Miles, of Ferriday and Doris Free and husband, Jay, of Vidalia; she is also survived by a number of nieces, nephews and friends who will dearly miss her.

Pallbearers are Fred Ables, Justin Swillie, David Swillie, Gary Waller, Pete Ezell and Scott Adams.
