WINNSBORO, La. — Services for Ruby Helen Couch, 83, of Columbia, La., who died Monday, June 29, 2015, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the Mulhearn Funeral Home Chapel in Winnsboro, La., with the Rev. Bill Nash officiating.

A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. at the Natchez City Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home in Winnsboro.

Visitation will be at 9 a.m. until service time Friday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Couch was a homemaker and an artist.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Aubry Waldon Thornton, Sam H. Couch and Hubert Childress and one daughter, Eva Diane Thornton.

Survivors include one son, Jimmy Waldon Thornton and wife, Betty Ann, of Columbia; one grandchild, Ruby Lynzie Thornton; eight step-grandchildren; eight step-great-grandchildren; two step-great-great-grandchildren; and a number of friends.
