Greg and Pam Brown of Brandon announce the engagement of their daughter, Anna Katherine Brown to Jeremy Shane White, son of Terry and Beverly White of Vicksburg.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Northwest Rankin High School in Flowood and a graduate of Mississippi College in Clinton. She will be teaching at Advent Episcopal School in Birmingham, Ala.

She is the granddaughter of Bob and Doris Simmons of Florence, the late Billy Warren of Natchez, Carol Bonner and the late George Bonner and the late Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Brown, all of Natchez.

The groom-to-be is a graduate of Saint Aloysius in Vicksburg and also a graduate of Mississippi College and the University of Mississippi School of Medicine in Jackson. He is a resident at University of Alabama Hospital at Birmingham.

He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Vogel of Petal, Ms. Mary Sue Prater of Waynesboro, Tenn., the late Mr. Harold Prater and the late Mr. Carl White.

The wedding will be at 6:30 p.m., Saturday, July 11, 2015, at The Ivy Venue in Flowood.

A reception will immediately follow the ceremony.
