FERRIDAY — Services for Donnie Craft, 87, of Ferriday, who died Monday, June 22, 2015, at Riverland Medical Center in Ferriday, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Comer Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Paul Reed officiating.
Burial will follow at the Natchez National Cemetery with military honors under the direction of Comer Funeral Home.
Visitation will be at 9 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mr. Craft was born March 1, 1928, in Ferriday, the son of Percy L. and Florence A. Kimball Craft.
He was a retired supervisor from International Paper Company with 36 years of service.
Mr. Craft also served as a corporal in the U.S. Army.
He will be surely missed by all that knew him.
Mr. Craft was preceded in death by his parents and four sisters, Willie Mae Bryant, Adrienne Ballard, Blanche Oliver and Bobby Stone.
Survivors include his wife, Doris Craft; two children, Larry Craft and wife, Penny, and Tracey Craft Bock, all of Vidalia; three sisters, Yvonne Piercey of Knoxville, Tenn., Carolyn Laird and husband, Bill, of Vidalia, and Joyce Jones and husband, John, of Ferriday; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews and friends.
Pallbearers will be Tyler Bock, Austin Bock and Scott Patten.
