VIDALIA — Jimmy Myers knows his store sold a winning Powerball ticket, he just doesn’t know who they sold it to.
The Louisiana Lottery notified the Tobacco Mart in Vidalia, owned by Myers, that a winning ticket valued at $200,000 was sold on July 28.
It remains unclaimed.
The winning ticket number is 01-11-20-25-27 Powerball 2.
“I can’t believe nobody has claimed it,” Myers said.
He’s owned the store for approximately 15 years and sold winning tickets before, but never this big.
“I figured someone would be in in a few days, but now I’m kind of wondering if someone has lost the ticket or has it sitting there and doesn’t know they have it.”
The owner of the winning ticket can bring it to Tobacco Mart for further directions.
The ticket expires six months from its draw date.
