Mr. and Mrs. Randell Smith of Liberty and Mr. and Mrs. Craig Blackwell of Kentwood, La., announce the engagement of their daughter, Brooke Marie Blackwell to Michael Adam Perry, son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Perry of Crosby.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Centreville Academy and a graduate of Mississippi State University in Starkville. She is employed by Harper, Rains, Knight & Company in Ridgeland.

She is the granddaughter of Ms. Brenda Brunet of Amite, La., and Mrs. Beverly Blackwell and the late Mr. Ray Blackwell of Kentwood.

The groom-to-be is also a graduate of Centreville Academy and a graduate of Mississippi State University. He is attending Mississippi College School of Law in Jackson.

He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jack Rish of Norwood, La., and Mrs. Yvonne Perry and the late Mr. Ronald Perry of Crosby.

The wedding will be at 5:30 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 10, 2015, at Blythewood Plantation in Amite, La.

A reception will follow the ceremony.
