FAYETTE — Services for Betty Mae Nelson, 66, of Fayette, who died Sunday, May 17, 2015, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Greenleaf Baptist Church with the Rev. Antoine Eakins officiating.

Burial will follow at the Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Visitation will be at 4 to 5 p.m. today at the funeral home in Natchez and at 9 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

Mrs. Nelson was born Jan. 17, 1949, in Harriston, the daughter of Amos Nash and Mary Nell Redmond.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Tommie Nelson Sr.; and one sister, Joyce Ross.

Survivors include one son, Tommie Nelson Jr.; two grandchildren, Keshuane Nelson and Kydree Nelson; one foster daughter, Shirley Jenkins; four sisters, Thadius Redmond, Sandra Grover, Bobbie Davis and Audrey Williams; three brothers, Wilbert Wilson Jr., Johnny Wilson and Michael Wilson; two aunts, Grace Nixon and Doris Thomas; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
