ROXIE — Services for T.J. Sanders, 83, of Roxie, who died Sunday, May 17, 2015, at Meadville Convalescent Home, will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Higdon Community Church in Roxie with the Rev. Edward Dillion Sr. officiating.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Visitation will be at 9 a.m. until service time Friday at the church.

Mr. Sanders was born Nov. 23, 1931, in Roxie, the son of Rosie Lee Sanders.

He was a member of the Higdon Community Church.

Mr. Sanders was preceded in death by his mother; his wife, Lillie Lee Sanders; four brothers; and two sisters.

Survivors include two sisters, Annie Bell Smith of Roxie and Georgia Washington of Lynn Haven, Fla.; two sisters-in-law, Lanita Sanders of Roxie and Julia Ann Reed of Meadville; one brother-in-law, Edward Wallace Sr.; a special friend, Jeannette Richardson; and a number of nephews, nieces, cousins and other friends.
