NATCHEZ — Services for Edward Lee Williams, 56, of Natchez, who died Wednesday, April 29, 2015, in Pearl, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at New Hope “The Vision Center” Baptist Church with the Rev. Willie James officiating.
Burial will follow at the Grove African Methodist Episcopal Church Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.
Visitation will be at noon until service time Saturday at the church.
Mr. Williams was born March 7, 1959, in Natchez, the son of Lem Williams and Narcissa Madison Williams.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his grandparents; Willie Madison and Frankie Broadway Madison, Lemuel Williams and Hanna Turner Williams; and one sister, Orange Lee Williams.
Survivors include 10 sisters, his twin, Edna Short and husband, Charles, Rosie Mae Williams, Dorothy May, Alice Carter, Linda Williams, Hanna Davis and husband, Billy, Frankie Madison, Louise Trash, Marilyn Townsend and husband, Marshall, and Mary Ann Ellis, all of Natchez; three brothers, Lemuel Williams of Alabama, Theodoro Williams and wife, Shawanda, and Albert Williams, all of Natchez; two aunts, Mary Louise Madison and Edna Madison; one uncle, Robert Madison, all of Natchez; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
