JONESVILLE — Services for Darwin “Rochie” Book will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Mayna Church of God in Jonesville with the Rev. Lloyd Trisler and the Rev. Jack Knapp officiating.

Visitation will be today at 5 p.m. and until service time Friday at the church.

Rochie was loved by so many. He loved the outdoors — fishing, hunting and riding horses. He always knew how to make you laugh. He always had a smile and the most beautiful blue eyes.

Mr. Book was preceded in death by his parents, Nelson and Zola Book; two brothers, Melvin Book and Kevin Posey; and two nephews, Sean Book and Michael Johns.

Survivors include three daughters, Shannon Book Case, Codie Hill and Sara Hill; five sons, Chris Book, Kevin Book, Darwin “Racky” Book Jr., Damon Gilmore and Brock Halford; five sisters, Nell Book Parker, Robbie Wiley, Susan Fairbanks, Lisa Book and Sandra Book; two brothers, Nelson Book Jr. and Randy Book; six granddaughters, Kristen, Chanceley, Della, Abby, Lauren and Paige; five grandsons, Jake, Kolby, Will, Drew and Hartley; and his special friend, Becky Wright.

Pallbearers will be Chris Book, Darwin “Racky” Book Jr., Damon Gilmore, Brock Halford, Brian Rush and Darren Wiley.

Honorary pallbearers will be Calvin Dent, Robin Fuller, Chuck Book, Louie Pagent and W.L. Adams.
