NATCHEZ — Memorial services for James Bertrand Nutter, 80, of Natchez, who died Friday, April 24, 2015, at his residence, will be at 11 a.m. today at Trinity Episcopal Church with the Rev. Walton Jones officiating.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of service today at the church.

Mr. Nutter was born on Oct. 10, 1934, in Washington, D.C., the son of Charles Perry Nutter and Eleanor Estel Haldeman Nutter.

Mr. Nutter was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife, Diana Ewing Nutter; two sons, James Wallace Nutter and wife, Lucy, of Houston, and Charles Christopher Nutter and wife, Kathryn Leigh Matheny Nutter, of Natchez; two daughters, Holly Nutter Winslow and husband, E. Ray Winslow, of Clayton, N.C., and Ashley Ewing Nutter Junkin and husband, John Ward Junkin, of Natchez; five grandchildren, Anna Titherington Nutter of Portland, Maine, Johnathan Kole Junkin of Natchez, John Gabriel Nutter of Austin, James Paxton Junkin and Charles Christopher Nutter Jr., both of Natchez; one brother, Charles William Nutter of Tulsa, Okla.; and a number of nieces and nephews.
