NATCHEZ — Services for Carl Edward “T Berry” Hargrave, 59, of Jackson, who died Tuesday, April 21, 2015, at the Baptist Medical Center in Jackson, will be at 11:30 a.m. Sunday at Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Aundre Thomas officiating.

Burial will follow at the Mercy Seat Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of West Gate Funeral Home.

Visitation will be at 4 to 4:45 p.m. today with a celebration of life wake service at 5 p.m. at the funeral home. Visitation will continue at 10:30 a.m. until service time Sunday at the church.

Mr. Hargrave was born Feb. 19, 1956, in Natchez, the son of Eddie Hargrave Sr. and Julia Woods Hargrave.

He was a 1974 graduate of South Natchez High School.

Carl was a faithful member of the Greater Tree of Life Missionary Baptist Church in Jackson.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Robert Lee Hargrave Sr.; and one daughter, Carolyn Julianna Hargrave.

Survivors include a loving and devoted wife, evangelist Gloria R. Hargrave; seven children, Terrance and Timothy Bowie, both of Baton Rouge, Tonya Bowie of Lake Charles, La., Audrey Robinson, Anthony Robinson, Alexander Robinson and minister Angela Robinson, all of Jackson; two sisters, Dianne H. Johnson and husband, Edward, of Natchez and Carylon H. Fleming and husband, Vernell, of Clinton; four brothers, Eddie Hargrave Jr. and wife, Doris, of Vidalia, Randoulph Hargrave and wife, Deborah, Donnell Hargrave and wife, Virginia, and Paul Hargrave and wife, Jacqueline, all of Natchez; three godbrothers, Gregory Epps, Lonnie Griffin and Terry Smith; one uncle; one aunt; and other relatives and friends.
