The design is complete and Natchez residents and admirers of the city who live in any other Mississippi county can order a specialty license plate to honor and help celebrate the city’s tricentennial.
But do it quickly. The Mississippi State Tax Commission must receive paid orders for 300 of the specialty tags before they will allow them to be produced.
Those who wish to order the tags have until May 6 to do so. The specialty tag fee is $31, with an additional $1 fee for ordering online.
The commemorative license plates seek to honor the city’s history. The design of the plate features a silhouette of the Mississippi River bridges in Natchez, along with the city’s tricentennial logo.
Some of the proceeds from the tricentennial license plate will be used to fund several of the events planned during the tricentennial celebration.
The design of the license plate is simple and classic. Sporting a tricentennial license plate will help let others know about the city’s year-long celebration of its 300th birthday.
The plate is also a keepsake that many will cherish for years to come.
Turning 300 is no small accomplishment. Consider getting your tricentennial license plate and take part in our city’s important celebration.
