John and Cleopatra Carradine announce the engagement of their daughter, Johneice Carradine to Alvin Griffin Jr., son of Alvin Griffin Sr. and Martha Griffin, all of Natchez.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Natchez High School and a graduate of Southern University and A&M College in Baton Rouge. She is employed by St. Elizabeth Hospital in Gonzales, La.

She is the granddaughter of the late Helen A. Davis of Natchez and Josie Mae Carradine also of Natchez.

The groom-to-be is also a graduate of Natchez High School. He is employed by American Electric Power in Convent, La.

He is the grandson of the late Author and Jamie McDonald of Doloroso and Dorothy Bruce of Natchez.

The wedding will be at 4 p.m., Saturday, April 25, 2015, at the Natchez bluff.

A reception will follow at the Vue.
