FERRIDAY — Memorial services for Lorne “Bubba” Victor Bolyer, 52, a motorman in the oil industry, of Vidalia, who died Wednesday, April 15, 2015, at his residence, will be announced at a later date.
Arrangements are under the direction of Comer Funeral Home in Ferriday.
Mr. Bolyer was born May 12, 1962, in Natchez, the son of LV and Margie Goodyer Bolyer.
Bubba was a son, a brother, father, grandfather and a friend to a number of people. He will surely be missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Margie Faye Phillips and Valinda Sue Ozburn.
Survivors include one son, Christopher Ray Bass and wife, Wendy, of Ferriday; four grandchildren, Arianna Bass, Nathan Bass, Lean Wilson and KK Wilson; three brothers, Billy Wayne Bolyer and wife, Linda, of Port Allen, La., Allen Lee Turner and wife, Nita, of Maringouin, La., LV Bolyer Jr. and wife, Vickie, of Vidalia; three sisters, Betty Jeane Cannella of Grosstate, La., Jennett Watford and husband, Lloyd, of Hazelgreen, Ala., and Cathy Smith of Plaquemine, La.; one nephew, Theodore Johnston Jr. and wife, Patricia, of Ferriday; and two nieces, Amber Morgan of Vidalia and Joy Deville and husband, Jeffrey, of Slaughter, La.
